Becky Robison joined me at the microphone last week to discuss one way that we may be able to prevent vacant and abandoned properties here inside the Metro area. We also discuss three metro council votes with big implecations to all Louisvillians.

By the way, the new data center definitions and recommendations to our land development code heads to a vote of the Planning Commission on 8/20 at 1pm in the Old Jail Building, 514 W. Liberty Street.

Metro Council passed the budget with a 22-3 vote. Many vital services were decreased, or cut out all together.

It’s something different, and will continue to evolve, but its goals are the same, to educate and inform, to encourage all Louisville residents to stay engaged, and carry the knowledge of how their electeds actually vote. After over a year of conversation about metro council and local politics, Sixth & Jeff, in its current format, has come to its end. Taylor will be stepping away, and the show will be taking a pause as Alena considers what’s next for this project.

We’re so proud of what we built, as it has served a need that hadn't existed prior. Thank you so much for tuning in, we are so grateful to everyone that reached out, shared episodes, sent us corrections, research, and supported the show. Thank you for being part of it!
