This morning is 's Breakfast of Brilliance event to raise awareness for two essential services in our community that CFWF provides: Mobile Advocacy and their Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Clinic.

We produced videos about each of these services for the event and a short profile video on their volunteer of the year recipient.

Career highlight. Shooting an interview with Ralph Steadman and Hunter S. Thompson’s son, Juan Thompson. Both were incredibly friendly, and at times it was hard to stop from laughing behind the camera. I wasn’t able to head to the track to get a signed poster on Thursday, but got a text the same day to shoot the interview, so things ended up working out even better. Steadman also left his mark on the Speed’s front desk after signing a poster for them. Didn’t manage to get an autograph myself, but it will still be a long while before another project beats this one. Thanks to Geoffrey for thinking of me and for running a cam as well! -Sean

Hope everyone had a great Derby! 🏇🏇🏇

This week we worked on a project at Old Friends along with Bonnie-Jill Laflin. She became the first female NBA scout while working for the Lakers and can currently be seen on Basketball Wives. She began her career as a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys, but has since went on to have a career as a media personality, model, actress, and animal activist. Old Friends is a retired race horse sanctuary in Georgetown, Kentucky and their most notable horses include Derby winners War Emblem and Silver Charm.
