On August 8, Tha Fix was at Beecher Terrace Weekend as the community came together to celebrate its history, its people, and its legacy.

Just minutes before the community parade and a special street-naming ceremony honoring Mitzi McCauley Wilson, Jon Mic had the opportunity to speak with her for a quick conversation on a very special day.

This wasn’t just another interview. Jon Mic has known Mitzi personally since childhood, and that history helped make this moment possible. We’re grateful that, with everything happening around her that day, Mitzi took a few minutes to talk with Tha Fix and allow us to be part of the celebration.

When asked how she would address youth violence in Louisville, P Newzs offers solutions that many viewers may consider controversial.
