This week’s Local Rec takes us to In Season downtown and it absolutely delivered.

I tried the “what2dolou bowl” (aka their teriyaki chicken bowl) and it was loaded with fresh veggies, crispy bits, and chicken. Easy 10/10 lunch spot if you’re downtown.

This week’s Local Rec takes us to Doc Crow’s Southern Smokehouse & Raw Bar. A downtown staple serving up Southern flavors with serious New Orleans influence.

I tried the Shrimp & Oyster Po’ Boy stacked on fresh French bread with shrimp, oysters, tomato, chives, and Doc’s remoulade (plus their house potato chips). This is an easy spot to recommend if you’re exploring Main Street and Whiskey Row.
