WHO IS THE LOVELAND DAILY?
The Loveland Daily News was founded with a clear purpose: to bring trust, clarity, and accountability to the news that affects the people who live, work, and spend their time in Loveland, Ohio.
This idea began as a shared belief—that local journalism should serve the public interest above all else. Over months of conversations, collaboration, and careful thought, that belief took shape. With the guidance and commitment of its founders, The Loveland Daily moved from concept to reality. Very soon, this vision will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection.

OUR FOUNDERS
The Loveland Daily was founded by Mike Meldon, Todd Osborne, Mary Ann Lynn, and Ryan Kulik.

Each founder brings a distinct background, perspective, and professional experience. What unites them is a shared commitment to providing reliable, independent journalism for the Loveland community. Though they arrived at this project from different paths, they came together around a common understanding of what Loveland needs from a modern local news organization.

ROOTED IN LOVELAND
All four founders live in Loveland, Ohio. The decisions made by city leaders, school boards, and local institutions directly affect our families, our businesses, and our daily lives. This personal connection reinforces our responsibility to report carefully and thoughtfully.
While not all contributors to The Loveland Daily will reside within the city, the editorial leadership will remain firmly rooted here. Local perspective matters, and it strengthens honest, accountable journalism.

Big News! Here comes The Loveland Daily!!! …For All Who Live, Work, and Care About Loveland, Ohio

We deserve a news source that is clear, fair, and grounded in truth. This publication was created with one simple mission: to inform our community honestly and thoughtfully, without spin, sensationalism, or hidden agendas.

In an age when headlines are designed to divide or distract, we believe local journalism should do the opposite. It should bring clarity. It should explain not just what is happening in our city, but why it matters—and how it affects the people who call Loveland home.

Our commitment is to the facts. We will take reasonable steps to confirm facts using available records, firsthand reporting, and clearly identified sources. We will correct our mistakes when they happen. We will separate opinion from reporting and make that distinction clear. Most importantly, we will listen—to residents, friends, business owners, city leaders, and everyday neighbors whose voices too often go unheard.

This site exists to serve Loveland, not to speak over it. We aim to provide context where there is confusion, transparency where there is uncertainty, and accountability where it is needed. Healthy communities depend on informed citizens, and informed citizens depend on trustworthy information.

You won’t always agree with everything you read here—and that’s okay. Our commitment is to report honestly, with care, and with respect for this community.

She was like no other. She made Loveland better every day.

It is with deep regret that we announce that Peggy Goodwin, Valentine lady 2006, volunteer extraordinaire and friend to all of Loveland, has passed.
Peggy’s passing leaves a profound emptiness in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
