📬 Dispatch #14 just landed, and the pumpkin patches open Saturday.

Fort Collins: Bartels Farm opens at 10 (free to walk in, corn maze $5, hayrides $2), and it's Fall Stop #1 in this week's Spotlight. Jessup Farm's Harvest Festival runs 10 to 2 with a dog costume parade at 10:45, and the museum runs a free vintage video game day 10 to 2. Tonight is the last Food Truck Rally of the year.

Greeley: Friday is the Bear Bash, the free block party for the rebuilt 16th Street, 4 to 8, with UNC's marching band and a concert. Teen Night Out at the FunPlex the same night ($8, ages 10 to 15).

Windsor: the Water Lantern Festival at Boardwalk Park Saturday, gates 4:30, launch 7:30 (under 8 free). Sunday, Brooms and Boards puts paddleboards on the lake at 10 ($10, register).

Wellington: Mingle on Main's Oktoberfest on Cleveland Avenue 4 to 8, free. Timnath: Timnath Connect's fall market at Pedro's, Saturday 9 to 2, free. Severance: a bubble party at Blue Spruce Park at 9, free. Evans: Heritage Day, free pancakes at 8:30, parade at 10, fireworks at 8:30pm.

📬 Dispatch #10 just landed: the last Monster Day ever and a 130th Corn Roast share one weekend.

Saturday in Greeley, Monster Day ends its ten-year run, with creatures from Distortions Unlimited out on the plazas, costume contests, and live mask-making, noon to 5. There is no next year on this one.

Saturday in Loveland, the Corn Roast parade rolls at 9:30, then it's roasted corn, co****le, and the duck race at 4. Friday night has the corn shucking contest and a Styx tribute under the lights.

Also this week: a community cake fight at Kroh Park (free, waiver required, frosting casualties expected), Wellington's Back to School Bash with a backpack raffle, and CSU's Rams taking Old Town Square Sunday before their first Pac-12 season. Swipe for the week, sorted by day 👉

📬 This week's dispatch just landed, and it smells like peaches.

Saturday the Peach Festival takes over Civic Center Park, 11 to 7: Palisade peaches by the box, peach pie while it lasts, three bands, and a kids pie-eating contest at 4. Kids under 12 get in free.

Sunday the Loveland Farmers Market goes full Watermelon Daze, with an eating contest split by age group. Ten spots per group, register that morning, bring a change of shirt.

In between: free campfire s'mores and a wolverine talk at Coyote Ridge Friday night, a symphony on the Foundry plaza the same evening, and telescopes at Bobcat Ridge Saturday after dark, strollers welcome right up to the eyepiece. Swipe for the week, sorted by day 👉

The bookstore that comes to you is making four August stops 📚

📬 This week's dispatch just landed, and it glows in the dark.

Thursday is a choose-your-own-splash: the Greeley library throws a foam party at 5:30 (bubblebath playground, snow cones, swimsuits recommended), and the Winona pool stays open 8 to 10 with music and glow sticks while they last.

Then Loveland spends the weekend as one big art show: Art in the Park's 59th year (free, 250 booths) across from Sculpture in the Park's 2,000 pieces, where kids 14 and under get in free. Poudre RiverFest runs the same Saturday in Fort Collins with river wading, 65 booths, and live music, free.

And it's finale week everywhere: the fair's last night is tonight, Kids on the Plaza wraps Wednesday with a UNC science demo and a DJ, and Windsor's boardwalk plays its last show Thursday. Swipe for the week, sorted by day 👉

📬 Loveland's Weekend of Art is coming, and so is the rest of the week.

Tomorrow's dispatch is summer's encore:

🎨 The Weekend of Art takes over Loveland Saturday and Sunday: 250 artist booths at one park, 2,000 sculptures at the other, kids 14 and under free at the sculpture show
🌟 GLOW swim night at the Winona pool Thursday: music, glow sticks, and a pool that stays open past bedtime
🫧 A foam party at the Greeley library Thursday, snow cones included, swimsuits recommended
🎡 The fair's actual last night is tomorrow, free gate and all, and every lawn concert in NoCo plays its finale

🗓️ The weekend has two birthdays and both parties are free.

Today: the Dragon and Cone in Wellington throws a bash for The Boy Who Lived from 10am (costume contest, wizard pong), then the Larimer County Fair opens at 4 with fireworks at 9. Fireworks run again Saturday night.

Tomorrow: Colorado turns 150. Greeley hosts at Bittersweet Park at 10am with 400 flags, youth performers, and free hot dogs and apple pie while they last. Centennial Village is free all weekend, and the farmers market runs 8 to noon first.

Also Saturday: a free K-Pop dance class on the Foothills East Lawn at 10, and Berthoud's End of Summer Reading party at noon.

Sunday: the fair makes you pancakes, 7 to 9am, free, then the kids' vendor market at 10.

✨ Coffee tour stop 7: Loveland Coffee Company.

Loveland's very own Coffee Co, and the beans barely commute: Cafe Richesse roasts them in Fort Collins, from coffee their family has grown on its own farms in Brazil for more than 30 years.

☕ Lattes and teas, a full pastry case, and enough seating to land the whole crew. Open every day, 7am to 5pm.

We stopped in ourselves before it made the tour. That's the rule for every stop.

📬 This week's dispatch just landed, and everyone has a birthday.

Colorado turns 150 on Saturday: 400 flags on the Bittersweet Park lawn in Greeley, a 10am ceremony, free hot dogs and apple pie while they last, and Centennial Village free all weekend.

The Larimer County Fair opens Friday at The Ranch and admission and parking still cost nothing: carnival, 4-H barns, free concerts every night, fireworks Friday and Saturday at 9. Sunday they make you pancakes.

And Friday, Wellington's Dragon and Cone throws a birthday party for The Boy Who Lived: house sorting, wizard pong, costume contest, free cockroach candy with every scoop. Swipe for the week, sorted by day 👉
