Today we honor the memorial of our Blessed Mother, Virgin Mary the beautiful gift given to us by Jesus Christ on the Cross.
In a world full of pain and uncertainty, we were not left alone. We were given a Mother who prays for us, comforts us, and gently leads us back to Jesus.
How blessed we are to have a Mother in Heaven who never stops loving and interceding for her children. 🙏

One painful truth about cancer is that sometimes it gives a person time — time to reflect, time to pray, time to make peace with God and prepare their soul. Unlike sudden death, where life ends in an instant, some people facing illness quietly draw closer to God behind closed doors.

While many people online were busy mocking and bullying Alexx Ekubo, he was busy fighting battles nobody knew about and trying to make things right spiritually. It broke my heart seeing how harsh people were toward him. Even on his birthday, the silence from many people was loud. But now that he’s gone, suddenly everyone is posting how much they loved him.

Why do we wait until people are gone before showing kindness? Why are people so quick to tear others down?

Always check on your smiley friends. Always check on the ones you call “strong” or “tough.” Sometimes the people who laugh the loudest are carrying the deepest pain silently.

Let this remind us to be kinder. Words hurt. Celebrities are human too, and we never truly know what someone is going through in private.

May God forgive his sins, comfort his loved ones, and grant him eternal rest. Amen.

Today's Mother's Day, I lift up in prayer every wounded mother.
Every abused mother carrying silent pain behind her smile.
Every single mother doing the work of two parents while fighting exhaustion and loneliness.
Every woman longing to hold a child in her arms but still waiting through tears and unanswered prayers.
I remember the mothers who have buried their children and carry a grief words cannot heal.
I remember the wives and mothers who lost their husbands and now walk through life with an empty space in their hearts.
I remember the mothers struggling quietly, trying to stay strong for everyone else while breaking inside.
May God comfort every hurting heart.
May He restore joy where there has been sorrow.
May He provide strength where there is weakness, peace where there is anxiety, and hope where there has been despair.
Lord, bless every mother today.
Wrap them in Your love, heal their wounds, answer their prayers, and remind them they are never forgotten.

Some days I look in the mirror and barely recognize the body I’m in right now… but I refuse to believe this is the end of my story.
I may feel tired. I may feel unmotivated. I may have gained weight. But I have not given up on myself.
This is my reminder that progress starts before motivation shows up. A small walk counts. A healthy meal counts. Trying again counts.
I don’t need to become perfect overnight. I just need to keep going.
The same woman who let herself go can also become the woman who transforms her life again.

This Sunday, we celebrate the incredible mercy and love of our Lord on Divine Mercy Sunday.

Jesus, through Saint Faustina Kowalska, reminded us:
"The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment."

Not even surgery nor abdominal incisional pain will stop me from dancing and praising my Maker.

I may move slowly… but I will move majestically—because every step is gratitude, every breath is thanksgiving, and every moment is a testimony.

God has been too good for me to stay silent.

So I will dance. I will praise. I will worship—no matter what.
I will take care of the pain later.
