Good Morning, Words of Relevance

Don't Worry Be Happy

But even if you should suffer for doing what is right, how happy you are! Do not be afraid of anyone, and do not worry. 1 Peter 3:14

Having troubles is a part of the Christian experience. No one goes through the Christian experience without having some troubles. There will be seasons of testing and testimony. Sometimes, you will experience a troubled season due to the decisions you make. Sometimes you will have a season of trouble because of the decision-making of others in your life. But, in either situation, count it all joy and find God in the midst. When we make the right decision, it can be difficult at times. God gets happy when we willingly choose to do right because evil is always present. At times, you will have to speak up for people who are fearful of speaking for themselves. You will feel the presence of God in your life and the favor he will allow to overshadow you. We must learn to cling to our internal peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen

Father, God, we have had to experience suffering in our lives as Christians. We ask that you continue to abide in us with and through us. We now understand that without a test, there is no testimony to tell others of your goodness and mercy. Thank you, for now we know that God allows us to suffer sometimes to grow our faith. We praise you for how your mindset works to bring us to become the best versions of ourselves. We love you, Jesus. We worship and adore you. Bless and keep us now until you come to receive us as your own. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.

Today Pray for someone you don't know.

Our God and Father we come before you with Thanksgiving and praise on our lips Thank you God for waking us up. Please forgive our sins and cast them into the sea of forgetfulness. We pray that you will use each of us for your praise, your glory, and your honor. Order our steps in your Word today. May we speak peace to some lost soul that knows not Jesus in the pardon of their sins. As we we begin to witness of your grace and mercy everyday. May some man, some women, some boy, or some girl as what must I do to be saved. Into your hands we submit this prayer. Amen 🙏🙏🙌

Beware of the Thief

The thief does not come but to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

In John 10:10, we find that Jesus is issuing his statement of purpose. Jesus wants the people of God to have rich, full lives. Not a life only filled with material things that moth and dust corrupt. We must learn to stretch ourselves. This does not mean the best house in the best neighborhood, the Cadillac, diamonds and pearls, eating out every night, or even a six-figure job. If you believe that this scripture has taken us there, you have missed the point. Read a little further down in this chapter, where the comparison is made between the sheep, the shepherd, and who the thief is in our lives. The people of God are the sheep, and Jesus is the shepherd, and anyone who approaches the people of God in a devious and ungodly manner is the thief. The people of God can be fragile and need someone to take care of them and not take advantage of them as they face the trials and tribulations of this life. Therefore, they need the good shepherd to help them navigate where the water of life is in the bible, prayer, and meditation. The good shepherd knows his people and can come to their aid when they wander off too far from the word of God. The sheep need loyal and devoted leaders to help them remain steadfast in the word of God, and shepherds who will come to their aid if they stray too far from the word of God.

The thief comes to destroy your life, but the good shepherd comes to enrich your life. If you are a God sent pastor. leader or teacher, you will not allow the sheep to be harmed. The good shepherd stands at the ready and will put himself between the thief and the sheep for their protection. Shepherds not only protect the sheep they provide, protect and profess well of the sheep in the community when speaking to others. We are to remain faithful and hopeful in Jesus' return, that where he is, we will one day be also. What is this abundant life talked about in this scripture? It is the life where not only do we know about Jesus, but he knows us and has our names written in the Lamb's book of life. And if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am, you may be also. John 14:3 Amen

Pray with me

Dear God, we come before you, praying that you would release your angelic protection over our lives, our homes, and families. I pray that what the enemy has put together to destroy us that you would turn it around for our good, like only you can do, God. Use us for your praise, your glory, and your honor. We pray that everything that the thief has taken be restored 100-fold, let there be no loss but a gain. Lord, you are the good shepherd. We pray that you would continue to provide, protect, and profess your goodness that you have instilled in your sheep in Jesus' Name. We pray, Amen.
