We are currently working on some product reviews which will include machines, tools, supplies and materials. Full disclosure; some of these have been give to us to test and other we will be purchasing or demonstrating using our favorite and unsponsored products. Either way, we will be giving you our full and honest opinions. We hope this will help you find the right fit for you, your studio and your budget.

Our newest series will include first time laser user, unboxing, setting up and using lasers in their studio. Both Dawn and I are also getting in on the action. Even though we have used lasers, neither one of us have used diode lasers. So, we will be putting them to the test.

We thought it might be fun to play with pigment powders this month. We just love to incredible effect we can get with them. Check out this ultrashift pigment from Eye Candy Pigments (Torii). It goes from a pink to purple to blue to magenta. Adds amazing depths.

Dayle created this image and I just had to use it for myself. I will admit the piece she did with it is well just out of this world. But we all can take an image and use it anyway we want. We can't sell the image just the products we make with them.

Played with a new to me technique. This is a wood inlay, yep wood veneer inlaid into a backboard. It's incredible the detail you can get. This is my first try , I can't wait to explore this more and can't wait to share this with you.
