🕊️ NOLLYWOOD STAR ALEXX EKUBO TO BE LAID TO REST IN AROCHUKWU 🇳🇬

Family, friends, Nollywood stars, and admirers are gathering in Arochukwu, Abia State, to pay their final respects to Nigerian actor Alexx Ekubo, who will be laid to rest on June 18 in his hometown.

His body arrived in Arochukwu on June 17, where loved ones assembled for a solemn wake ahead of the funeral and burial.

Alexx Ekubo passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 40, after battling metastatic kidney cancer.

Known for his talent, charisma, and strong connection with fans, Alexx Ekubo built an impressive legacy in Nollywood and remains one of the industry’s most beloved figures.

His passing continues to leave a deep void across Nigeria and the African film industry.
