This week was my youngest's birthday; he turned 14. Oh my, when I think about the times the doctors told me I would never be able to have another child. She said either I wouldn't make it or the baby wouldn't, which we were okay with, as I had C-sections with all of mine, plus my youngest daughter has a heart condition. So, we decided after we had her that my husband would get fixed, and he did. But two years later, I got so sick, and God had other plans. He gave me my fifth child. I actually got to experience labor with my last one. My water broke two months early, and I wouldn't stop bleeding. We rushed to the hospital; they took me from there in the ambulance to another hospital where my specialist was, and they did an emergency C-section. Oh, he was perfect in every way. He weighed right at 3 pounds. Doctors are gifted, and I'm so grateful for them, but our God is bigger, and His plan is always better. I could never be thankful enough that He gave me you, son. My shy, smart, quiet son with the biggest heart - you made our family complete.
