Lufkin’s Lady Panthers Soccer opened their season with a tough 2-0 loss to Captain Shreve Tuesday at Jase Magers Soccer Field. While the game was the season opener for the Lady Panthers, the win moved Captain Shreve, a Class 5A school in Louisiana, to 11-1-1 on the season.

The Lady Panthers (0-1) will be on the road Friday and Saturday at the Tomato Bowl Classic in Jacksonville.

Lufkin Lady Pack basketball lost its final two games of the Aggieland Invitational on Tuesday, in closely contested games to Comal Davenport 51-46 and 6A Round Rock Stony Point 56-54 .

The Lady Panthers (15-7, 4-1) will be back in action Saturday at Texas High who is 5-0 in district for a 10-5A contest.

Lufkin moves to 14-4 on the year winning 68-40 over Midlothian Heritage. Panthers were up 34-14 at the half.

The Panthers travel to Texas High this Saturday at 2:30 PM for district play.

Lufkin wins 65-45 over on Hebron in The Colony. Lufkin now 13-4 on the year, they now play Midlothian Heritage at 3 PM.

Lady Pack Girls basketball (15-5) play at 1:20 PM against Comal Davenport at the Aggieland Tournament in College Station.

Lufkin drops a 65-53 decision to Top 5 ranked 6A Little Elm in The Colony tonight. Moore and Williams led the Panthers with 10 points apiece in the game, Cayden Burse had nine, Brown had eight, McManus had six and C.J. Burse and Sanders had five apiece.

The Panthers will return tomorrow to play Hebron in the morning at 10:30 AM. Lufkin is now 12-4 on the season.

Lufkin Boys Soccer fall on the road at Palestine 4-2.

The Panthers will now play in the Kilt Cup Tourney in the Woodlands Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Thursday - 10:00am vs A&M Consolidated
Friday - 10:00am vs Caney Creek
Saturday - 9:00am vs Smithson Valley.

Lady Panther basketball fell to Abeline Wylie 69-55 in their 2nd game of the day. They will play again on Tuesday at 1:30 PM facing the loser of the Comal Davenport and Christian Home School Ministries.
