HELLS HEADBANGERS, longtime fans of Sweden's INVERTED, are proud to reissue the band’s 1996 debut full-length on all formats featuring the bonus track from the era, "Across the Lake of Flames".
Recorded and mixed at Midgaard Studio from January to March 1995 and released in 1996 on the long-defunct Shiver Records, "The Shadowland" delivers raw 90s Swedish death metal energy with moments of melody and intricate songcraft.
From the opening track, "Diabolical Ceremonies", INVERTED sets a relentless pace with blast beats and commanding vocals. Tracks like "Condemned" blend crushing riffs with melodic passages, and "Journey into Shadowland" features layered guitar harmonies, varied tempos, and memorable transitions.
