2025 was such an amazing year for our team.

We served more families than ever before and saw more families choosing care from pregnancy through postpartum, something we know improves the outcomes for both moms and babies!

We are so grateful for all the families that placed their trust in us as we walked through various seasons and trials with them.

We treasure these families and will continue to be thankful for whatever families God brings our way to serve!

✨️✨️✨️Big shout out to my amazing team of doulas who have been so supportive, faithful and hard-working for this team and our clients. I could not be a doula still without their friendship and team support! ✨️✨️✨️

Happy New Year from our families to yours 💕💕

Birth is physical, emotional, mental and very much spiritual!

So many of our clients voice to us that they really love when we can pray and intercede for them.

Prayer can be outspoken or silent.

It can also be a major way that mother's surrender to birth and the beautiful path God has called them to.

All of us doulas here have a heart for these mothers and families and we truly value to power of prayer.

So many reputable research studies have proven that one of the most positive improvements you can make in maternal and infant health is hiring a certified doula!

When I left bedside nursing and began my doula journery back in 2019 I was amazed to find so much research out there supporting the benefits of a doula.

🌹🌹Also, these roses bloomed in late October and have been such a beautiful highlight as everything else is changing to brown, red and gold.

What God made is so beautiful, whether its birth, babies or roses--I'm a fan ❤️

Life is always worth protecting at every stage of development.

Life is always worth protecting at every stage of development.

In the darkest place on earth — Auschwitz concentration camp — a Polish midwife named Stanislawa Leszczyńska made a silent stand against brutality.
In 1943, she was arrested for helping Jewish families and sent to the camp with her teenage daughter. There, she was ordered to work in the maternity barracks — a place where pregnant women were not meant to live — or give life.
N**i doctors commanded her to kill every newborn. Babies were to be drowned in buckets of water minutes after birth. Refusal meant death.
Stanislawa looked at the order… and said one word:
“No.”
Knowing she could be shot instantly, she still delivered babies safely and refused to harm even one. With almost no tools, working in filthy conditions, she helped more than 3,000 women give birth inside Auschwitz.
The mothers whispered to her, “Will my child live?” She always answered softly:
“Yes — as long as I breathe, your child will not be harmed.”
Some babies survived because of her courage. Many did not — but every single one was born into love, not cruelty.
After the war, she never called herself a hero. She simply said:
“I delivered life. That was my duty.”
Even in a world full of cruelty, choosing to protect life — choosing compassion — is an act of rebellion. Stanislawa didn’t win a war. She didn’t fight with weapons. She fought by saying no to evil and yes to humanity.
You don’t need power to be brave. You just need a line you refuse to cross.

The 2025 Cochrane review on immediate and early skin-to-skin contact after birth highlights that further randomized controlled trials comparing skin-to-skin contact with ‘usual care’ are no longer ethical.

The findings show there is now enough evidence to make immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth the global standard of care, and as WHO already recommends skin-to-skin the standard of care, the authors argue that randomizing the separation of mother and newborn may no longer be justifiable.
