A brilliant brace from Alagie Dukureh sealed all 3 points for Angalfuta FC as they defeated Dibba Oil Fc in a Group C encounter at the Soma Mini Stadium today in the ongoing Jarra West District Nawettan.

Dukureh opened the scoring on 35 minutes and doubled the lead on 73 minutes to put Angalfuta Fc in a strong position in the group.

Dibba Oil FC opened their Nawettan campaign in style on Monday with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Soma Sitaba at the Soma Mini Stadium.

It was a tightly contested match with both sides creating chances, but it was Dibba Oil who found the breakthrough.

Lamin Jobe scored the lone goal of the game to secure all three points for Dibba Oil FC and get their campaign off to a perfect start.

The goal sparked celebrations among Dibba Oil supporters who turned up in numbers to cheer their team on the opening day.

With this result, Dibba Oil FC send an early statement in the competition, while Soma Sitaba will look to bounce back in their next fixture.

Philanthropist and long-time football supporter Mr. Seedy M.B. Kinteh has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots football in Jarra West with a generous donation of 40 footballs to the Jarra West District Football Committee.

The footballs will be distributed to the 20 registered Nawettan clubs affiliated to the Jarra West Committee ahead of the new Nawettan season. Each club will receive 2 brand new footballs to aid their preparations and ensure smooth commencement of league activities.

Mr. Seedy M.B. Kinteh has been the main sponsor of the Jarra West Committee’s league championship for many seasons. Beyond sponsorship, he has made it a tradition to donate footballs to clubs every season, a gesture the committee described as a true replication of generosity and love for the game.

With this timely donation, clubs in Jarra West are now set and motivated to kick off what promises to be an exciting Nawettan season.

Management Honours FF Cup Heroes with D100,000 Cash Reward

The management of Baalor Sarr Football Club has fulfilled its promise by presenting a cash reward of D100,000 to the club’s players and technical team in recognition of their historic 2026 GFF FF Cup victory.

The presentation ceremony was held earlier today at the Alkalo’s residence in Faraba Banta and was witnessed by the Council of Elders, reflecting the community’s appreciation for a team that has brought pride and honour to Baalor Sarr.

The reward serves as a token of appreciation for the players’ and technical team’s commitment, sacrifice, and outstanding performances throughout the campaign, culminating in the club’s first ever FF Cup title.

Baalor Sarr Football Club extends its sincere gratitude to the management, the Council of Elders, our supporters, partners, and the entire Baalor Sarr community for their support throughout this historic journey.

HART FC ARE SUPER CUP CHAMPIONS OF JARRA WEST!🏆

HART FC clinched the Seedy Fadera sponsored Jarra West District Super Cup after a dramatic 5-3 penalty shootout victory over Black D Horse FC following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

In a tightly contested final, Captain Sambujang Cham gave Black D Horse the lead in the early minutes of the second half with a well-taken finish that sent their fans into celebration.

But HART FC responded in emphatic fashion. Just 2 minutes into later, Foday Drammeh produced a brilliant solo effort to level the scores at 1-1 in the 47th minute. His pace and composure turned the game on its head and set up a tense finish.

With no further goals in 90 minutes, the trophy was decided from the spot. HART FC showed nerves of steel, converting 4 of their 5 penalties to Black D Horse’s 3.

As winners, HART FC went home with the giant Super Cup trophy and D20,000 cash prize, while runners-up Black D Horse received D15,000.

The final was graced by Mr. Seedy Fadera’s delegation which included Special Presidential Adviser Momodou Sabally, Hon. Sanna Bah - Ambassador At Large, Mr. Bubacarr Bah - CEO of B&M Brokers, and a host of other dignitaries. Also in attendance was GFF General Secretary Lamin M. Jassey.

It was a perfect end to a competitive tournament that showcased the best of Jarra West football. Congratulations to HART FC on a well-deserved triumph and to Black D Horse for a gallant performance.
