So, I waited until today on purpose, because I can't help but brag on this kid, even though the team didn't get the result they wanted.

We at CCM have had the honor to get to know Cayson over the summer and into the school year. EVERY SINGLE TIME he sees us, he makes it a point to come over and speak to us. He is a constant driving force for these new Panthers, and for my money, may have the single greatest disposition, not only for a teenager, but as a human I've been around. When we grow up, we want to be like Cayson Schrier.

Over the course of the summer and into regular practice, we have seen Cayson line up as a quarterback, slot receiver, running back, safety, linebacker and kicker. Having a kid like that on your team is such an invaluable piece to any winning culture, and Cayson does his many jobs with an infectious enthusiasm you just can't help but love.

The Panthers welcome in the WIlls Point Tigers for a big cat fight on a Friday night! Fresh off a 57-0 blowout over rival Kemp, Mabank looks to add a second win to the season after consecutive 1-9 campaigns in only the third week of the season.

Tonight is also Homecoming in the land of the Panther, and an extra special one at that, as Mabank ISD and the City of Mabank celebrate their 125th anniversary!

JD broadcasting, I’m finishing up episode 2 of Path of the Panthers, Mr Bobby in the tech department got us all squared up for the multi streaming service (sorry about the volleyball game only being on YouTube again)! HOCO is here, let’s go Panthers!
