When we think about dreams in the Bible, we often think about Joseph or Daniel. But God also spoke to kings.

Pharaoh dreamed about a coming famine. Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about future kingdoms and received warnings concerning his pride. Solomon encountered God in a dream and asked for wisdom.

What stands out to me is that influence, power, and position did not make anyone exempt from needing God’s direction.

No matter who we are, we still need His wisdom, His guidance, and His voice.

📖 Proverbs 21:1
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord…”

Throughout the Bible, dreams were often moments where heaven interrupted ordinary life.

From Joseph to Daniel, God revealed purpose, direction, and understanding to those who were willing to listen.

The question isn’t just “What did I dream?”

The question is, “What is God teaching me?”

📖 Numbers 12:6

Daniel teaches us that dream interpretation begins with God.

Before Daniel received understanding, he sought the Lord in prayer. Before he gave an interpretation, God gave revelation.

Dreams are not just about symbol, they are opportunities to seek God’s wisdom, discernment, and direction.

Like Daniel, may we be people who seek God first and give Him all the glory for what He reveals.

📖 Daniel 2:19

God uses dreams to reveal, warn, guide, and encourage. He still gives wisdom to those who seek Him.

God is still the same God who spoke through dreams in Scripture.

From Joseph to Daniel, from warnings to revelation, dreams were often used as one of many ways God communicated His purpose.

The goal is not to chase dreams.
The goal is to seek God.

Dreams may get our attention, but discernment helps us understand what to do next.

Joseph’s dreams weren’t the destination. They were the beginning of the journey.

Before the palace came the pit.
Before the promotion came the process.
Before the fulfillment came the faith.

Sometimes God reveals a glimpse of His purpose long before we see how it will unfold.

What has God shown you that you’re still waiting to understand?
