Raising four kids on my husband’s family farm & just inheriting the name🌲🌲. 🐐 🐑 🪿🐣🦆🐕🐈🐓

I still have about ten guinea keets looking for a new home (not the light ones). They are off heat, the grunt work is done for ya!

And all at once summer collapsed right into fall.

We are about 5.5 weeks into having our ram running with the girls. Pondering when I’ll take him out, watching for signs to see if he’s adequately covered all 14 of them.

Chickens looking for a good home!

09/10/2026

Over 13 1/2 years ago we moved to the farm & not long after arriving (4 months I think) I convinced Jimmy it was a time for a puppy. Maggie Kae has literally been with us since the beginning, back when we had one little baby and zero chickens 😆. She could not have been a better farm dog! She learned her boundaries (for the most part) and followed my kids everywhere they went. She forever dug up my yard and laid in my flowers but she was simply the best. Three years ago on a whim, brought home Mia our golden retriever- but it was such a blessing having this old dog teach her the ropes.
It feels like just yesterday, but looking back on the pictures I know she had the best life and we couldn’t have been more lucky to have her all 13.5 of those years 💔

She is now stationed at the top of the hill to forever look over us and the farm.
