Sundays are a day of reflection and appreciation of local places of worship and our spiritual history. Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church is another one of our beloved community churches started in the 1970's as a way to serve the fast growing Northeast Jackson and Ridgleland areas. Early beginnings were in a private home, and then moved to Lake Harbor Drive where the congregation met in a trailer on donated land. When that location was no longer sufficient they sold it and moved to the current location on Pear Orchard Road in Ridgeland. The church actively supports families with the academic and spiritual education of children and share their facilities with Christ Covenant School adding a buzz of weekday activity during the school year!
