I spent 48 hours inside the Chernobyl exclusion zone while Russia’s full-scale invasion is happening. The silence there hits different when you know Russian troops were literally driving these same roads not that long ago.

This video isn’t just about radiation or “creepy abandoned stuff.” It’s about what it feels like to move through a place that’s already survived one disaster, while another one is happening around it.

I sat down with Triumph Motorcycles for a podcast and what started as a conversation about bikes turned into something much bigger.

We talked about riding and my love for building bikes… how my Scrambler 1200 has changed over time. Parts refined and things stripped back to what actually matters. In a strange way, I realized I’ve been doing the same damn thing to myself.

But we also talked about Ukraine… about a strange career built around abandoned places… about music, touring, losing the plot and finding it again.

We went all the way back to childhood… what it’s like growing up creative, feeling out of place, and slowly realizing that the thing you’re trying to outrun is actually the thing calling you forward.

Grateful for conversations like this and for machines that keep taking me into places where those stories can unfold.

I sat down with the lovely on her podcast and somehow we covered the full map of my life from abandoned buildings, war zones, fear, purpose… the stuff that actually keeps me doing this work… even when it doesn’t make sense on paper.

And somewhere in there, I ended up telling (for the first time publicly) the story of when I went to jail. So if you’ve ever suspected I might’ve been arrested a few times… congratulations, your instincts are pretty damn accurate.
