Some of the best moments in life aren't the ones we planned. Take the long way. Paddle or hike somewhere you've never been. Sit down with a stranger. Say yes to something you hadn't planned on doing. You never know who you'll meet, what you'll discover, or how briefly paths might cross before continuing in different directions. Get outside. Be curious. See what happens.

So... Looks like I'll be Emceeing the Slice of Life Comedy Show at The Orange Peel's Pulp Lounge tonight. (Wednesday) This picture is from the LAST time I was on that stage, for one of Michele's shows. It was years before we were a couple (that's us in the middle). Get well wishes to Hilliary Begley, the comedian powerhouse that has had to tap out tonight due to a back injury. Michele has asked me to Host the event. I can't say no to my love. (NEW VIDEO Going Up Tonight!) Four months ago, I started documenting a journey without really knowing where it was going to take me. A lot has happened since then.

Now, standing at something of a crossroads, I decided to go back and revisit the road that brought me here. Not to live in the past. To gain perspective. To see connections I couldn't always see while I was living through the moments.

And in doing so, I found that some of the emotions, lessons, and experiences that felt one way in real time felt very different when viewed from a little distance. Not less sincere. Just... different.
This special, feature-length episode is a look back at the journey so far—and a chance to consider what it all might mean for the road ahead.

For those of you who have been with me from the beginning, thank you. Truly. And if this is your first time finding me, welcome. If you've been meaning to start, but hadn't yet. This is a great place to start!

The road here mattered. But the road ahead is where I'm going.
