Kids, don’t try this at home 🙈 You live and you learn.
Feeling extra nostalgic as we wrap up another year and close a meaningful chapter of our lives 📕 As we prepare the farm to pass along to the next beautiful family, I can’t help but reflect on the unforgettable moments that shaped us over these past five farming years.
Like that very first winter—when a massive snowstorm was on its way and we attempted to cover the hoop houses with plastic for the first time 🥶 I was on one end, Shaw on the other, each of us balanced on the highest rung of a ladder perched on top of another structure (yes… really 😅). I fed the plastic up toward the roof while Shaw tried to stretch it across the entire hoop.
Our hearts were in the right place, and we worked tirelessly to figure it out as we went—but our strategy? Not our smartest moment 😂 After nearly two hours of wrestling heavy-duty plastic into place, a single gust of wind sent it flying off in about two seconds 🤦♀️
We’ve come a really long way since then—and we’re so incredibly proud of the love, grit, and care we’ve poured into this dreamy place 💕 Excited to share what’s next and welcome this new chapter with open hearts 💐
