Sometimes the best part of a cigar isn’t the first light or even the flavor notes—it’s those last few minutes when everything gets quiet and you realize you actually slowed down for a minute.

Tonight’s Slow Burn 🔥

🥃 The Smoke: Started with dark fruit — somewhere between fig and raisin — with espresso/molasses sweetness, before settling into earth, wood and leather.

🔥 The Burn: The fruit faded and leather took over, then the pepper came out of nowhere. Just when I thought that sweetness was gone, the dark fruit crept right back in.

💨 The Finish: Bold earth, heavy wood and leather dominated, with the pepper picking back up and leaving a long, strong finish.

🥤 The Pairing: Barq’s Split Banana Cream Soda — definitely an unusual pairing, but it worked.

⭐ Final Take: A lot of movement in this one. Dark fruit → leather → pepper → earth & wood. And judging by that nub… 😂 yeah, I enjoyed this one.

Tonight’s Slow Burn 💨🔥

Life moves fast. Smoke slow.

Tonight I’m lighting up the Alec & Bradley Kintsugi. The name comes from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold — turning the cracks and imperfections into part of what makes the piece unique.

I’m getting cedar, warm spice, some nuttiness and a little coffee coming through as it burns. Smooth start, and I’m waiting to see what else shows up as I get deeper into it. 👌🏾

And tonight’s entertainment? X-Men: The Animated Series. 😂 Taking it all the way back with a good cigar and a real blast from the past. 📺💨

Tonight I’m kicking back with the Rocky Patel Number 6 and a Starbucks iced coffee ☕️💨

This one is giving me a smooth mix of cedar, cream and coffee with a little sweetness hanging around. That iced coffee alongside it? Yeah… good call. 👌🏾

Nothing too complicated tonight — just a good cigar, a cold coffee and some time to slow things down.

Tonight’s Slow Burn 💨🔥

Life moves fast. Smoke slow.

Got the Southern Draw Cedrus in rotation tonight, and this box-pressed stick is starting off nice.

Creamy cedar is leading the way, followed by a caramel sweetness that keeps hanging around after the smoke. Hit the retrohale and there’s a warm spice that wakes everything up without overpowering the cigar.

Went a little different with the pairing tonight — ice-cold root beer 🥤. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but that vanilla and caramel from the root beer actually plays really well with what I’m tasting in the Cedrus.

Still got plenty of cigar left, so we’ll see where it takes me. 💨

Tonight I’m burning the Drew Estate Undercrown 10.

Right now I’m getting espresso, cocoa, earth and some pepper. There’s also a little sweetness showing up on the retrohale. I’m still trying to see if that dried cherry 🍒 comes through as I get further into it.

Iced coffee ☕️ on the side, something good on TV, and nowhere to be.

Good cigar. Good movie. No rush.

Tonight’s smoke 💨🔥

This one smooth as hell. I’m getting cream, cedar and a nice nutty flavor with a little pepper in the background. Paired it with a Starbucks iced coffee and that coffee really brought out the creamy and nutty flavors even more. ☕️💨

Nothing too strong or overpowering, just a smooth easy smoke.

Definitely one I’d smoke again.
