It's here people! Volunteers from across the area are coming to Bat Cave, NC, Saturday, June 21st, to lend a hand with recovery work still underway after Hurricane Helene!

Big Tex and his friends with Bat Cave Disaster Relief invite the entire community to come out for a fish fry to remember, as we close a hard day of service with something worth showing up for!

Join us at 4:30 PM at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration (72 Saylor Rd) for a fish fry from Big Tex and friends the whole town can be proud of!

The McKoy Family Band will be playing live music. And the tables will be full with food. There’s no charge and no expectations. Just show up. Bring a dessert if you’d like. Pull up a chair. This is a night for the whole community!

And if you want to help during the day, we would love to have you!
Volunteers Sign up now at www.batcavedisasterrelief.com to be ready to start the day early! Just bring gloves, closed-toe shoes, and a heart willing to serve. Lunch will be provided!

🚨 URGENT NEED 🚨
MAM (Mountain Alliance and Mission) is stepping in to assist a grassroots organization in helping a resilient 60+ year-old woman who has endured more than her fair share of hardship.

She recently suffered a serious fall, badly cutting her arm and learning she now needs hip surgery. On top of that, she lost everything to Hurricane Helene. While a camper was donated to her, it’s in terrible condition and not a safe or dignified place for her recovery.

🙏 We’re asking for your help. If you or someone you know has a camper or RV in decent condition they’d be willing to donate—or if you’d like to support this effort financially—please reach out.

There is a Zeffy account attached that allows you to toggle and then you choose your donation amount.
Ex. Jon donated 5k and he toggled to 100% of his dinatiin goes to the project.

Ex 2: Sara donated 2K and toggled to 80% of her donation goes to the project and the 10% left over goes to administration.
