What better way to spend Labor Day than out on the course! ☀️
The outcome wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but that's okay. Every match is an opportunity to learn, and today I definitely found a few areas where I need to put in more work.

Back to practicing, improving, and getting ready for the next one! 💪⛳

You can't improve if you're not willing to learn from the tough days.

Today our team went to a parity tournament here in Maine and played 3 short games. We competed, learned, and get some work in as a team.

🏒📸 My paparazzi aka Mom was a little distracted last night! 😂

I had double duty with summer hockey, but apparently Mom didn't get the memo to take more pictures. 🤦‍♂️

She'll be at the youth hockey board meeting tonight while I'm at practice, so the paparazzi will be missing from the rink again! 😂

But don't worry... the work is still getting put in.

💊 A Day of Creon

One of the things people don't always see when they see me out and about or playing sports is what happens behind the scenes.

This is my Creon for just ONE day.

Because of the thick mucus that can build up in my pancreas, my body doesn't make enough digestive enzymes to properly digest food. I need pancreatic enzymes to help my body digest and absorb the nutrients it needs.

It might look like a lot of pills, but for me, it's just part of everyday life. 💙

Treatments. Medications. Nutrition. Exercise.

It's all part of my journey. 🏒💙

Today was all about hanging out with cousins and friends and making some awesome summer memories! We spent the day racing go-karts, battling it out on the bumper boats, flying down the water slides, and having way too much fun. 😎🏎️💦

This morning, our team traded the rink for the trails and hiked Mount Borestone together. Every step reminded us that success isn't just built during practices and games. It's built through teamwork, encouraging each other, and pushing through challenges together.

We hit up the New Balance tent sale for some new kicks for school. Then found ourselves at the Skowhegan State Fair and ended the night with one of my favorite events... the demolition derby! 💥First time I have seen a car launched over the barrier!

🦷Today my mom and I had dentist appointments. After we went on a little date for pizza and bowling. 🎳

Fun fact: My mom used to be a junior bowler back in the '90s, and after beating me in both candlepin and 10-pin. I'd say all those years of practice paid off, even though she was a little rusty! 😂
