Reminder that our 7th Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony is this coming Saturday. The parade will be on the same route as the Old Timer's and Christmas parades and will pass through Manchester square. The parade kicks off at promptly 10 am with over 100 entries.
The Veterans Day Ceremony will start at 11 am on Manchester square. Master of Ceremonies, Jim Dobson, U.S. Army - retired, VFW Post 10904 officer and Principal at Westwood Middle School will lead the ceremony.
Prize money to 3 entries drawn at random. We are still taking parade entries until Friday.
Also, the Veterans Photo Flag Project will be displayed at Peoples Bank & Trust Company, later on Saturday. The photo flags will be on display in the front lawn of the bank until late on Veterans Day. Stop by and see the many faces of those who have served, or have relatives, in Coffee County.
Please join us on Saturday as we honor those who have served.

We need your help. We have families who struggle with food insecurity who work and cannot make it to the local food banks during the day because they can't take off work to go. With no options for them after work hours, they struggle to get support. We are looking to keep some food boxes on hand during this time of uncertainty for families. If you, your church, local organization, youth group, etc... would be interested in helping, please keep the families we support in mind.
