I utilized a Medium Zip-Top from L.L.Bean with tall straps, customized in dark pink thread, with the monogrammed word ‘mommy’ in script font, that I packed all the gifts in!

I was almost done with a new quilt top when I realized I made a grave mistake! The machine went to its default needle setting which was 1/2” when I need to sew this together on a 1/4” seam allowance! Thankfully it was only this one row that was wrong!

Anyone new to sewing or thinking of starting… invest in a good seam ripper because 20 years in and it’s one of my most used tools!

Last night I had a "news-terror"...

In the dream I had 30 minutes to produce and anchor a newscast all by myself, the anxiety when I woke up was REAL! Crazy to think once upon a time I did produce and anchor by myself (with slightly more than 30 minutes to spare), but even crazier that I've been out of local news for 7 years, and still have these dreams!
