Well, Well, Well -- August is going to start the push into the Fall thats is going to be the craziest of all Falls with 100 straight days of work for the willing.

It will be demanding, hard, wet, hot, windy, cold, and unrealistic at times so it will be real grind and some won't make it but we have to be there for one another and pick them up if they fall. We have all gone from a complete stop to a full on pipe break of chaos!

Some clients are requiring vaccinations to work on their job sites or wearing masks without proof of it. This is a choice for you all to make of what you want to do we are just following the rules of their sites and the CDC.

Just a deep thought!

Live events supports over 12mil jobs and contribute over just over a Trillion dollars to the economy. On average, 75-85% of our industry has been furloughed/laid off since early March. Our industry is vital part of the economy & a social positive release for most of our society that they look forward to week in and week out!

The Government has always bailed out the Airlines, Banks, and the Automobile industries — so why not us? Just asking for 12mil friends!

It’s going to be a cooler with ice kinda weekend, Happy Memorial Day — miss you all!

It was June 2015 on a hot Las Vegas night! It was when the office was still behind Stage 3 and we could park inside on the early part of the build.

Lillian and Juan were walking towards me with a grin ear to ear and said they had surprise, it was Zeb all fresh faced and bewildered! Lillian was like “this is my son and he is so excited to be here” and then came the famous big hug from her!!

2 weeks had gone by and here comes Zeb barreling down on me — well I was curious what he was going to say since he said only 2 words in his first 2 weeks!!

“Um, can I tell you something” — sure Zeb.

“This is amazing can I do the next show?” — I don’t see why not we love your Mom & Juan. “

“Do you mind if I give you a hug” — hey Zeb I’m married I’m not sure if my wife will like it!!

All of you that know him those big eyes of his got wider and that puppy dog super confused look took over his face and he said......

“Does your wife know my mom hugs you!?!”🤣🥰

Happy Sunday Funday or does it still feel like "Ground Hogs Day" Monday over and over and over!?!

So things I noticed durning this time in quarantine, my top 10.

10. You can't keep cleaning things that are clean
9. The amount of T-shirts I have
8. Online school with 3 daughters is like a MMA Title Fight
7. Ours dogs hate that we are home all day
6. I still hate to read and still get up about 5:30a
5. TikTok is something more than what a clock does
4. You can get stuck in the internet rabbit hole FOREVER
3. Carole Baskins killed her hubby
2. Breakfast is a suitable meal 3 times a day
1. That I miss all the hard long hours of the grind with the road fam!

Life is a trip and we don't know where we are going until we know where we are at -- we all thought we had the map for 2020, now we have detour.

We know things are stressful, we know things are scary, and the uncertainty of whats next is a dark cloud looming overhead -- we 100% understand.

For those old enough to remember this feels like 9/11/01 -- fear, doubt, wondering everywhere you turned if there was going to be more attacks -- again the uncertainty of it was the hardest part

Will a lot of our friends lose their companies in the next couple weeks -- maybe -- banks will still want their loan monies -- warehouses will still want their rents -- once more the uncertainty of what the safest move is the unknown.

The things I know that are certain -- I've skinned up my knees from praying to anyone or anything that will listen and I have scars on my back from all the times I've fallen down but its never stopped me from getting up and fighting & I know the same WILL is inside all of us that do this job. I can promise you we are working harder now to get some of this mitigated and sorted!

Our industry is tough, not for the faint of heart, tight-knit, driven, focused, and its a road family! Its going to be rough 30-45 days -- pull up yourself by your bootstraps, grab a bottle of Jack or Patron and pour out a little for the live event gods then line em up, we got this!

Have faith and be positive this was just a zig when we all wanted a zag!
