Flowers can be medicine too 🌸 swipe to see which ones might already be in your garden

Some of the most powerful medicinal herbs are hiding in plain sight as garden flowers. echinacea for immune support, rose for its anti-inflammatory properties, hibiscus for heart health and vitamin c and many more!

i’ve been working with herbal medicine for years as part of my holistic health practice, and there’s something so grounding about growing your own remedies. whether it’s herbal tea, tinctures, or just learning what’s already around you, plant medicine is worth exploring.

šŸ“ save this for your inspo for your next herb & flower garden

happy national recovery month ā¤ļø september is all about celebrating sobriety, and i’m not holding back this year

i quit drinking and it’s genuinely one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. this alcohol free life gave me back so much! presence, clarity, joy, health, and no more regrets.

if you’re sober curious, in recovery, or just questioning your relationship with alcohol, i see you and i’m so glad you’re here.

national recovery month is about normalizing these conversations. quitting drinking isn’t a loss, it’s an opening. sobriety isn’t restriction, it’s freedom. an alcohol free life isn’t boring, it’s the most present i’ve ever been.

whatever your sobriety journey looks like - whether it’s day one or years in, know that it’s worth celebrating šŸŽ‰

šŸ“ save this for when you need the reminder

Learn this Herb 🌿 Gingko 🌿

One of my favorite herbs for brain health, focus, and circulation 🌿 Gingko is the oldest tree and is an ancient adaptogen, used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine and still backed by modern research today. I’m so lucky these trees grow right in my NYC backyard!

Possible benefits: memory + focus, cognitive health, circulation, heart health, antioxidants, calming anxiety, eye health, and possibly tinnitus relief

āš ļø disclaimer: This is herbal education and not medical advice. Ginkgo interacts with many medications, including blood thinners and SSRIs. Do not Gingko take if you’re on these. Always talk to your doctor and do your own research before adding any new herb or supplement to your routine.

A little nature goes a long way!🌲 I just got back from two weeks of hiking and exploring in Canada and I feel so grounded. I healed some old wounds I didn’t even know needed healing.

this is why I love solo travel so much. there’s something about being away from the noise, just you and the trail, you and your thoughts, that lets things surface and settle in a way they can’t when you’re in the thick of everyday life. It’s reminder of how important it is to take time for yourself.

this shot is from a hike along the niagara river. one of those gorgeous moments where I just had to stop and take it inšŸ’š

Grateful for the adventure and happy to be back!

A day in the park can provide so much healing for your nervous system. Boosting, serotonin, getting vitamin D, lowering blood pressure and giving you grounding and stress relief. A day in the park is always a good thing.
