My favorite day of vacation is museum day! First we visited , where we discovered pieces by Goya and got to see “Las Meninas” by Velázquez. Then stopped by where they had free admission (Mondays 12-4pm) and got to see a collection from Renaissance to Pop Art. 💯💯💯is how I grade Madrid’s Art Walk. Up next is a visit to the

Ever heard of the Hudson River Museum? The museum sits on the grounds of the Glenview Mansion. Built in 1876, the home has elements of Victorian Gothic design and all the feels of a glorious haunted house. I had the opportunity to visit last October and fell in love with the place and their antique books collection. By the way, is that’s a ghost I see in the last photo?👻👻

The Strahov Monastery is home to an amazing Library in Prague. Discover the Philosophical Hall and the Theological Hall that make up this Extraordinary Library on my new blogpost. Klášter premonstrátů na Strahově - Strahov monastery

Sometimes life takes you places you never imagined. And other times it takes you to those same places twice in two months. That’s what happened to me with Prague. Since I work in advertising and Prague is a popular destination for shooting commercials, I figured I would go some day. However every ...

The massive rocks at Stonehenge are lined together like a house of cards, but even from a distance I could feel the heavy weight that gave them stability. Read all about my visit on my new blogpost.

I arrived at Victoria Coach Station in London around 7:30 am. I had booked a ticket on the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford Day Trip with the Evan Evans Tour company departing at 8 o’clock. This was my second weekend in London on what would be a three-week trip and I was determined to see as ...

Did you know today Sweden celebrated Santa Lucia? A unique tradition that brings light to one of the darkest days of the year (and it's one of my favorites!) Here's what it's all about:

I sat inside a beautiful church -- Storkyrkan, a cathedral in the heart of Stockholm. The lights dimmed and the crowd grew quiet. Everyone knew what was about to take place. And while I didn’t understand a word of Swedish, I, too, knew I was in the middle of something special. Suddenly

Big fan of ? Then you probably recognize the stunning Leadenhall Market. Even thought there isn't a real doorway into the there, I felt the magic while exploring this beautiful location. Read all about my visit on the link below.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you probably recognize Leadenhall Market as the location of The Leaky Cauldron and entryway to Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone film. However, while there are no real entryways into the wizarding world here, there is a sense of magic you ...

Did you know it took nearly 200 years to build the Tower of Pisa? That and other cool facts in my new blogpost.

“Is this whole town is leaning?”  That was my first thought upon setting foot in Pisa. For some reason, my photos kept coming out at weird angles regardless of how I positioned my camera. (And, sure, we had spent the morning at a vineyard in Chianti before heading there, but I promise yo

The Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican. What if I told you there's more to Rome than its famous sites? Read all about the beach-front neighborhood that's only a few minutes from Fiumicino airport on my new blogpost:

The Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican. These are the first things that come to mind when you think of visiting Rome. And that’s just it. Everyone thinks of visiting these popular cultural sights on their Roman holiday and they end up becoming so crowded that it’s hard to enjoy them.

Ever wondered what to bring with you for a 8+ hr flight? Here's my list of basic things I can't get on a plane without.

In a few hours I’ll be hopping on a flight from NYC to Shanghai. It’s a 15 plus hour flight, the longest one I’ve ever been on. I feel like there should be a special name for these super long flights. Like sports have “extreme” versions, these long trips should be called “extreme flying....

Have you heard of the abandoned castle on a haunted island in the Hudson River? I got in the Halloween spirit with a little adventure to Bannerman Castle.

A fresh breeze and the soft crashing of water against the hull brought on a wave of calm. It had just started to feel like autumn in the Hudson Valley. The air was crisp, but the sun was shining and a few seconds under it was enough to warm up.  The boat started to slow down and with a few
