Did y’all already know this?? Avocados stay good for-freaking-ever if you put them in water in the fridge. These have been in here for two whole dang weeks while the control group on the countertop rotted. They’re perfect. I’m speechless.
If y’all knew and didn’t tell me imma be BIG MAD.

Last year we left our pumpkin on the front porch all year and it rotted. I swept the seeds into the yard and they germinated. These two pumpkins came from that nasty rotten pumpkin. It reminded me that something good can come from a rotten situation. Can’t wait to cook these bad boys into a pie or maybe a pumpkin roll 🎃

I just wanted to share. My husband is a retired Marine who has been paralyzed from the waist down since 2001. He decided he wanted to build a chicken coop rather than purchasing a pre-built one. He wanted to make it completely wheel-chair friendly so he can roll up to the coop and even go inside. Aside from a few hours of my very limited help and help from one of his friends, he has completed it to this point all by himself. He gets up early in the morning and comes in at dusk. I’m beyond amazed and proud of his perseverance and dedication. 🥰❤️ by: Melanie Hoppe

A couple months ago I gave my friend and her husband a jar of vanilla sugar as a housewarming gift for their first home. The next morning she texted me saying that after her husband tasted some in his morning coffee he decided that our friendship will only be allowed as long as I continue to supply them with vanilla sugar 😂
Fast forward to this week and my friend’s in-laws are here for a visit. They’ve had vanilla sugar in their coffee every morning and had my friend reach out to ask if they could buy some from me before they leave! I currently have way more vanilla sugar than I know what to do with, so I will gladly be taking some over later today as a parting gift. I just love getting share a little bit of vanilla happiness ❤️
