هل هي حديقة حيوان ام سجن ام مدينة ملاهي ،تساءلت.
اسمي يوسف ولدتني امي في نيويورك قبل اربع شهور وهمست امي باذني سنعود للوطن قريبا لتكون مع افراد الاسرة في فلسطين ولتحيا بسعادة في كنف العائلة وفي اجمل و اقدس مدينة على الاطلاق.
اول امس كانت الرحلة من نيويورك الى عمان التي قالوا لي انها اقرب مكان للقدس كانت ١٠ ساعات طرنا فيها فوق البحار والجبال وشاهدت من النافذا افقا بلا حدود .
وتوقعت الرحلة من عمان للقدس ان تكون ساعة او ساعة ونصف،الا انها كانت ايضا عشر ساعات طويلة جدا و مملة ومتعبة جدا.
كنا نجلس بهذا الحر الشديد في تلك العربة الكبيرة وفيها الكثير من الكبار ،كانوا يتذمرون من جهة وكان الاطفال بعمري او اكبر قليلا يبكون بدون توقف ويصرخون.ساعات من الصراخ والبكاء جعلت المكان اشبه بمكان للعقاب النفسي والجسدي.
قالو لي يوم الجمعة والسبت لا يمكن المرور،اعتقدت اننا ننتظر الدور للدخول الى حديقة حيوان او اننا ذاهبون الى مدينة ملاهي فتلك البوابات لم تقنعني انها بوابات لوطني وهؤلاء الذين يحملون السلاح ليسو حراسا على مدينتي وذلك الجدار لم يكن ابدا لحماية وطني من الاعداء،فقد بدى الاعداء داخله وليسوا خارجه.
لكنني سرعان ما ادركت اننا ننتظر للدخول الى ذلك السجن الكبير المسمى فلسطين والى مدينتي القدس المختطفة التي قسموها واحاطوها بذلك الجدار.
عشر ساعات من الحر والعطش والتعب كي انتقل من عمان للقدس اظنها كانت رحلة شاقة جدا ولم تكن بالرحلة الممتعة ابدا كما وصفتها لي والدتي التي كانت تحاول ان تزرعي في الشوق لرؤية العائلة والوطن.
ارجوكي يا امي اعيديني الى حيث ولدت فعلى ما يبدو ذلك الوطن الذي تتحدثين عنه هو سجن كبير جدا يعاقب فيه الكبار والصغار دون استثناء ولم افهم لماذا.
اريد ان اعود الى هناك حيث ولدت حيث لا يوجد بوابات ولا سجون ولا عقاب جماعي ولا حتى الجدار.
اريد ان اعيش بحرية ،لا ان اقضي حياتي وانا ابحث و اسمع عن تلك الحرية.

Last week I had the chance to meet with Dreamers in the Oval Office. These young people are part of the fabric of our nation and vital to our future.

Congress needs to pass the U.S. Citizenship Act and create a path to citizenship for Dreamers, farm workers, and TPS holders now.
