I have 50+lbs of tomatoes, all various sizes, in my freezer. I want to make some spaghetti sauce, but every recipe I find talks about weight. I dont have a scale anymore, so does anyone have a good recipie using cups as the measurement?

Busy past few days trying to get some veggies used up before they go bad.

My husband makes the best salsa, so naturally we used the big jars. These will probably last a few weeks.

Refrigerator pickles, okra for the freezer and a creamy cucumber salad.

Still have a lot of tomatoes coming in which I will try my hand at shelf stable salsa.

Someone remind me to only do like 3 plants next year.

Also made a creamy cucumber salad for the first time. After testing both, each of my kiddos has requested their own jar of creamy cucumber salad. So I'm hoping my cucumber plants can keep up this year! 🥒💚

50mph winds yesterday meant I had to take down my shade cloth for my lettuce. Resulted in my lettuce bolting due to the heat.

Don't ever test bolted lettuce. 🤢

Have a few plants left. Think I will test my luck and plant more.
