I recently had the opportunity to visit Bielefeld Germany. It was quite the experience. I tried to find a local record shop. I found what looked like a pretty nice one on line. I hoofed it about a mile or so (I'm not up on my kilometers) only to find it had been replaced by a bike store! I probably couldn't have carried anything back anyway. But I did come across this sign!

I've seen deer crossings, duck crossings, even moose crossings. But this is my first frog crossing! I asked someone, and yes it really is a frog crossing!

Here's a unique piece of Petra history. This concert clip is pre-Greg X Volz. On the studio album version, Bob Hartman sings lead on "Come And Join Us". At this concert, the lead vocals are sung by Rob Frazier! Rob's tenure with Petra was fairly short, but he did contribute the Christmas classic "Mary's Song" to the Petra catalog.

Here's a pleasant surprise I just came across. John McNamara was part of the 80s SoCal band 441. They did three projects in the 80s, as well as a live reunion album in 2009. John has released a new solo project, and this song, "Seventeen", is a nod back to those early days.

I received some news from Randy Stonehill regarding his health issues. Randy says that his health is "moving in the right direction so I'm encouraged, but I'm still in the middle of a fight." He also said he is most thankful for your prayers for Godly wisdom and for His healing touch. There is still a long way to go!

Please continue to hold Randy and his wife Leslie up before the throne. I know he's itching to get back out sharing the Good News with his music.
