Local cottage baker, Tina of Sugar Belly had her personal and business pages hacked.

She currently has no access to those accounts, any messages you receive right now would be a scam.

Her current profile is Tina Sugarbelly if you need to contact her while she works to either get her accounts back or start a new FB business page.

I'll post updates when able, until then, show her some support during a very frustrating time.

She does incredible work, and now while typing this, I want some macarons 🤤🤤

Thursday, September 25th - 6pm-8:30pm

Crave is an annual culinary competition and community event that raises money for FOCP BackPack Food Program.

Feeding Our Communities Partnership's (FOCP) goal is to help end food insecurity in the area for students throughout the community.

Their cornerstone project is the BackPack Food Program, which provides meals for students during weekends and and school breaks.

At Crave, local chefs are tasked with transforming an ingredient from the BackPack pantry into a delicious dish, with ingredients ranging from easy mac, banana chips, applesauce, pretzel goldfish, and more.

Traffic at a standstill on highway 169 between Mankato and St Peter.

Video sent in around 5:30. A detour remains in place until around 9pm.

Reports are it was a 4 vehicle crash, including a Freightliner, Pontiac Grand Prix, Ford F-550, and Peterbilt 379.

Semi was overturned over the guard rail near the river embankment.

Highway 169 is detoured from Mankato to Saint Peter until around 9pm.

Multli-vehicle crash earlier around 5:20pm.

Authorities are still working on clearing a massive grain spill on the road way, and a semi is overturned over the railing.

Avoid 169 to Saint Peter until further notice.

Juvenile female rescued from North Mankato house fire passes away.
North Mankato, Minn. The North Mankato Fire Dept is saddened to report that Autumn R.
Paulson, age 12, has died because of injuries sustained in the house fire at 524 Lyndale Ave. on
the morning of September 19th.
The other victim, Stefanie Scharbach, age 41, the mother of Paulson, who was also
hospitalized, was treated for smoke inhalation and has been released from the hospital.
Both Paulson and Scharbach resided at the home in which the fire occurred.
Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire, but preliminary indications
are that it was accidental in nature.
The fire remains under investigation by the MN State Fire Marshal’s Office, the North Mankato
Fire Department, and the North Mankato Police Department.
