As a Former Town Board Member (2020-2024), Co-Chair of the Comprehensive Planning Committee and Chair of the Police Committee, I want to share my enthusiastic support for the Town of Manlius’ plan to build a new town hall for Town operations, a compliant court, and fit-for-purpose space for our community-focused police department. In addition to my understanding of the need for a site and new building from when I represented the Town, I have reviewed the plans provided to the public and support the land purchase on North Burdick Street. I embrace the opportunity for the acreage behind the building’s site to become parklands. I want to reiterate my confidence in the Town’s leadership to address the costs of the land purchase and building project, to ensure fair taxation and the financial stability of the Town.

This morning, we attended a press conference hosted by Onondaga County Clerk Emily Essi Bersani, where she announced the return of the Onondaga County “Return the FAVOR” Program Veteran Discount Card. The Veteran FAVOR Card provides discounts to honorably discharged veterans residing in Onondaga County at partnering businesses throughout the county.
