Her name is Abbigail Rose… so I turned her into one. 🌹

Inspired by the timeless mystery of the Mona Lisa, I wanted to create a portrait that felt eternally soft, powerful, and quietly unforgettable.

My camera isn't what changed for me this year. It was the feelings I embraced after paying attention to the stillness. The quiet in my studio, the pause before I create, and the calculation behind each of my decisions. That's when I knew I wanted to push my creativity and elevate my work even further in 2026.

I wanted space.
I wanted time.
I wanted more depth and meaning.

I was finally ready to embrace that the most important things in life deserve to be crafted slowly.

The first two weeks of 2026 with Nikki’s Narrative have been quiet. Even though it may seem like nothing is going on, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes.

I’ve been refining and preparing for this year with determination. I refuse to rush. A new year prompts everyone to reflect, but this time I wanted something deeper, more profound. I want to capture with more purpose. More direction. I want to have more creativity and showcase more expression.

The truth is, I’ve been preparing for a shift. A shift so deeply rooted in storytelling. A shift that will provide a legacy and display true artistry. A shift with more meaning.

I’m not ready to reveal everything yet, but please know what’s coming has been thoughtfully crafted. Slow. Intentional. Different.

I’ve spent over a year planning, dreaming, and working tirelessly toward this moment.
And I can't wait to share it with you all.

The finish line is so close I can feel it.

After 23 continuous hours of editing, designing, organizing, and refining my vision for what’s next, I can finally say this:

Every single session for 2025 is delivered.
(Aside from some tech troubleshooting on a very large ready to deliver file….. because of course.)

That’s 84 sessions
That’s 6,186 edited images
That’s a full year of trust, emotion, stories, and artwork now complete.

I went from 32 sessions in 2024 to 84 this year, and honestly… I’m still processing that growth.

This year wasn’t easy. It demanded discipline, skill, education, and relentless problem-solving.

I navigated illness, a car accident, a sudden move after our roof collapsed, last-minute second shooter emergencies, and added another child to our family (all while supporting loved ones through hard seasons of their own).

There were tears.
Panic moments.
Deep exhaustion.

Times I felt overstimulated, overwhelmed, and stretched thin.

But I kept going. Every single time.

Tonight I’m sitting here tired as can be, robe on, mismatched socks, barely holding my eyes open.

But incredibly proud.

Proud of the business I’m building. Proud of the standard I hold. Proud of the legacy taking shape one image at a time.

And while I’m closing the book on 2025…
I’m quietly preparing for what’s next.

Stay close.
The growth ahead is intentional…

…and it’s going to be exponential.

This is the heart of my senior experience—multiple sessions across the year, time to build confidence in front of the camera, and space to truly tell each senior’s story. Getting to know Gracie and her family and watching her blossom into the incredible young woman she is has been such a gift. Ending it all with a custom senior magazine that captures every chapter makes this journey so meaningful. This is more than a session—it’s a senior year, beautifully documented.
