Two years ago today Jeff Titus walked out of prison, finally free after over two decades of wrongful imprisonment.

Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey are also in this picture. Added together that’s over 70 years spent in prison for crimes they did not commit.

I hope the next time we’re all together Jake Silva will be in the picture too. Like all of you, we’re waiting for news from the lab.

But until then… happy freedom day to Jeff. And Jake, hang in there…

Moments like this are what drive the work we do at Proof. Through late nights and early mornings, hungry stakeouts and cancelled interviews, the mission is clear.

Susan, Jacinda, and Kevin met while working on Jeff Titus' case back in 2017, and that work continued until Jeff walked out of prison on February 24, 2023. While sharing this video with a listener, I realized some of you may not have seen it yet.

All this to say that Susan, Jacinda, and Kevin are not just podcasters, producers, or content creators. They are incredible humans who work tirelessly to right the wrongs of the justice system. To tell the stories that might never be heard otherwise, and to handle them with care.

Know that they want this moment for Jake Silva, and posthumously for Ty Lopes, too. We don't stop when the season ends.

I want to say that it is an honor to work for such amazing people, and to thank them for telling Renee, Jake, and Ty's story in such a meticulous way, in hopes that we get to see Jake one day walk out into the sunshine like Jeff did.
