Looking to speed up your shelf-pin drilling process? Check out the Rockler drill jig. You’ll need to purchase the drill separately, and I’m currently testing a few different brands to see what works best.
This drill is from MorningRo, which I picked up on Amazon, and it’s not quite up to my standards. I’ve got more options coming in to try. That said—this jig itself is legit.

Starting the year off strong! I’ll be teaming up with this year. I’ll have a brand-new saw setup coming in, and I’ll be breaking down all the options I chose and why. Super excited to get it up and running—stay tuned!

Cheers to 2026! Bringing the new year in on a fun hike with the wife!

Let’s talk multi-head combo drill kits. As a cabinet maker, this setup is my go-to in the shop. Between the versatility and the durability, it’s easily one of the most-used tools I own. If you’re building cabinets, this is a must-have in your shop.

The ‘in / out’ technique when joining boards is my go-to. It makes the joint almost fail-safe in my opinion. Even if your fence isn’t set at a perfect 90°, you’ll still end up with a clean, tight joint. Give it a try

Pocket holes. Simple, strong, and used in just about every shop. There are plenty of options out there, but these are the three pocket-hole setups I actually use day in and day out.
