My niece and her two boys came to the studio today and helped with some vocals, thanks guys
Another great afternoon of recording with the VanDeusons, we got 3 more origional ideas started and will add to the list as time goes on. Many thanks to Jim for the box of "what-nots" he brought, you never know when you will need a part or piece to make things work around here, they always come in handy.
We had a session with The Lane Drifters from the Endicott area. At the moment we are doing a live CD for their promo package. More to come next week after their vocal session.
Many congratulations to Dakota Denman on his show in Janesville, Wisconson. Dakota got called out a couple days before the concert to fill in for the lead player in ENuff Z 'Nuff. It was his first time with a name act opening before Vince Neil and in a sold out house. Super month for the Denman brothers being selected to do a session with Michael Wagener. We all are waiting for the recording to hit the Heavy Metal radio stations, all the best from us here at Wizard Studios!!!
This is the audition of the new backup singer for the AH chorus, I think she has great potential. She does very well on third and fifth harmonies.
A great afternoon in the studio today. Paul has had me doing a Christmas in July project by doing an arrangement of the Elvis classic Blue Christmas. Go to the Wizard Studio Soundcloud site to listen. We also worked on some new material that Jim VanDeuson is working on here in the studio, we have been adding bass and some percussion to the mix. The studio computer is back up and running with all new 2 TB hard drives and the hard work of Mike Burdorf making sure everything is working properly, Mike is always there when we need him to service our system, many thanks Mike.
Jim VanDeuson at his session here in the studio with Dad.
The guys from Daytime nightlife posted a video on You Tube called "Alone", they did a great job on the video and it's worth taking a look. The song is from their album we have posted on Sound cloud on our Wizard site. Check it out!!!
Some more barn wood on the wall in the vocal room, another deal because of Paul. Now for some work on the doors, have to decide what that treatment will be, a little improvement, more to come as we go along.
A beautiful day here in Marathon, Carl Canedy and I met so he could deliver the hi-hat cymbals he ordered for us, the other cymbals sound so good on our recordings and the hi-hats will complete the package. Thanks Carl!!!
Steve and Paul going over mixes so they can be sent for mastering. Little adjustments here and there. A good day in the studio!!

A very Merry Christmas to everyone, please be extra safe during the holidays. It won't be long until 2016 is here and we look forward to the New Year!!
Yesterday, Bob Story, Bobby Petrella, Don Barber and I, went to "The Celebration Of Life" for our friend Dave Blatchly. Their were so many of Dave's friends that came to celebrate his life and accomplishments.
We found out that a friend and old band mate David Blatchly has passed away. Dave was part of Donny and the Dukes during the early 60's and then went on to college and a long and successful carrier. When we got together to re-record I'll Be Blue, David did the video and we all had a lot of fun doing that project. That will be a great memory for us to remember him. R.I.P.

We have posted more songs on our page at soundcloud and will be posting more as we can, your comments are always appreciated
Here is a chance to remember an old friend Tex Roe who was the executive producer for this project. We never found out what the results of our efforts were due to his passing shortly after we distributed the song nation wide. This was a fun project with some great musicians and the expertise of Peter Hopper at Mountianview studios in Dryden. Have a Merry Christmas!

The guys from Deep In Green are here to work on new material they have written. Zac and Danny have been here before and are not as well versed on Drums as they would like to be, Don Barber lent his expertise and played parts that the guys couldn't play. Thanks Don Barber. Paul Tucci stopped in to lend a helping hand later in the day and the session went very well. Many thanks to Carl Canedy and Mike Burdorf for their help tuning the drums and advising us about cymbals for recording. Thanks to Mike for installing the new 2 TB hard drive and transferring all the data from the old drive to the new drive.
Sonar Platinum is now loaded in the studio computer all we have to do now is learn all the new parts to the program. Exciting times!
Don Barber came to visit and catch up on what has been going on here at the studio. While he was here he pre-tuned the new drum heads on the studio kit. Even though we didn't get to work on any of his projects it was just a nice visit, we both look forward to working on some new projects.
A handy amp rack and a pair of Boom Cymbal Stands for the studio drum kit
A close-up of the new album artwork. Most of the material was recorded here and then taken for new arrangement and final production at another facility. We are proud to be part of the project.
