All Christmas decorations were safe in their totes by 5p, while dinner was cooking. I love having it all out, but I equally love the freah start when it’s all put away!

Anyone else have a Christmas baby in the house? Since she was very tiny ours has always used this count down to count both Christmas and her birthday. I pictures when she moves away from home she will move this with her to continue. She has a love hate relationship with having a Christmas birthday. Sadly I take full responsibility in giving her that birthday, as she was induced and I picked it.
The benefits she has discovered is she will never go to school on her birthday (or 1/2 birthday!) depending on her future career, she may not even work on her birthday. Some disadvantages are the same, as someone who loves a party and to be social it’s hard to make birthday plans when everything is so busy with holiday stuff.
Happy birthday to all the Christmas-new year birthday babies that somehow get lost every year in the crazy of this season! We see you in our house!

Good morning! It’s the last work day for my husband until after the first of the year. How long is our to do list? How many things will we get done? Those questions are ones I woke up asking myself. We love this season of having everyone home. The bus year looks a bit different, teenagers with jobs and social lives.
Today’s tasks include getting straw for the animals and making cookies for neighbors ❤️
