My son is so excited to see how he develops as he matures.

Naked neck silkie?! I didn’t even know that was possible until a couple months ago. We got some hatching eggs from another chicken keeper and noticed she had a couple. Of the eggs that hatched this was our only naked neck, thankfully. They are so ugly they are cute, sorta! These little fluff balls are 4 weeks old this weekend

It’s soap cutting time! A few batches made earlier this week are ready to be cut and continue the curing process. I love cutting the soap to see the insides and smells the come from each batch. No 2 batches are exact.
I use pure essential oils and mica powder measuring by heart. Some are more colorful or have more of a spiral of mica powder than others.
The apple spice one has no mica powder just spices to make that deep dark apple pie filling color. Smells amazing!

I’ve been working on making a couple batches of goat milk soap a day. I wish you could all smell these batches! It sure smells like fall in my house!
I made an apple spice one 2 days ago and last night I rolled out the autumn mornings reboot. I can’t wait to share them all with you all!
