Starting to work on Mercedes Lackey's first book The Outstretched Shadow. Vivid descriptions in her book make imagining scenes so crystal clear. I love it. "Reception room - Vast and Echoing. Here the decor was varied a trifle from the stark black and white of the entryway by the addition of two shades of blue. The ceiling was dark blue, with little Mage-stars glittering above, mimicking the movement of the stars in the night sky. And the three long, low couches and the discreet scattering of chairs were upholstered in satin a slightly paler shade of the same color. All the tables, ornaments, and other accoutrements (including a fireplace big enough to stand or lie down in) were white or black, alabaster or ebony. Even the famous simulacrum, standing on another black marble plinth, looked like the finest white alabaster." It's going to be a LOT of work turning this amazing book into movie material, but it will be worth it. One day I'll walk into a meeting with the publishers of the book, set a 5 ring 3 inch binder of all of this down, look them all in the eye and state "Hi. I'm here to turn this book into a movie." They'll listen. Or at least they better!

Made a post on reddit about filming stuff and got a few interesting responses. Will see if any fall through in the coming months. In the meantime, continuing to work on my apartment sit-com as well as just see where the future leads.

Do to the lack of financial resources to take on any major production, I'm instead devoting my attention toward writing a sit-com that will be produced from my new apartment! Focused around the life of a newly wed couple, adventures will abound as they struggle to maintain ties with family and friends, while having a life of their own. Writing for it official begins today! Have an idea for an episode? Let's hear it! Credit will be given if idea is used in part or full.

Congratulations to everyone who was involved in Bounty Hunters! We did it! The video was 100% about learning experience; from writing an emotional scene, to filming in the dark, to trying to pull off cheesy lines. But most of all, it was experience starting a project that was WAY over my head, and finishing it. Who's available for just some practice filming stuff tomorrow? No worries, most of it will be inside. Have costume stuff? Bring it! Will be filming all day, just practicing fighting techniques, lighting, and other stuff. Looking for a small group of 5 to 10 volunteers from about 10am to 4 pm.
