Kennesaw State leader Dan Papp broke financial rules, audit says

News just came out that former KSU president, Dan Papp, has received nearly $600,000 in a manner that goes against the University's Policies.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This money comes from a deferred compensation fund that is meant for the University President to be received at the end of his employment. This is money that he set aside over his decade of working for KSU from his salary. Papp did not receive any of that money illegally or from a separate fund.

That being said, there is over $20,000 of money that he should not have received that is being credited to "lack of coordination and understanding."

Outgoing Kennesaw State University president Dan Papp violated state University System compensation policies involving deferred compensation, annual leave payouts and car allowances during his time leading the institution, according to a report released Friday.
