Bud’s Village has entered a new season.
After a year of deep refinement, shedding, and spiritual transformation, the Village has been rebuilt from the ground up — shaped by lived experience, renewed purpose, and the calling God has placed on my life.
Today, I’m honored to share the launch of the new Bud’s Village website, along with a foundational Bastion blog post that marks this turning point:
“The First Horse and the Eclipse Portal — A New Moon Blessing for a New Life.”
This past year was a crucible — the hardest in a series of three — where God stripped away what was false, healed what was broken, and rebuilt me on rock instead of sand. Out of that transformation, the mission of Bud’s Village has shifted.
This space now exists to offer:
• encouragement for the weary
• direction for the wandering
• strength for the rebuilding
• hope for those longing to walk with God again
If you’re navigating hardship, transition, or renewal, I pray this new season of the Village speaks to you.
The gate is open.
The Horse is running.
And the journey continues.

The last week was a tactical nightmare for me as I moved into the house I grew up in after being away for many years. After 5 days without making much progress, the internet service came online and I began making feeling hopeful I would see the end of the clutter, chaos, and disorganization in my new-old home. Armed with an the information highway I setup my PC and tuned into the Bud's Village Community Discord. The strength I found amoung friends from my years of gaming were the emotional, and spiritual charge I needed to finish putting away the mess and reclaiming my domicile. The clutter began melting away as I hauled boxes, bags, and furniture. I called this day, November 7th, Founders Day., the day I finally found my home.
