Jaguar always knew how to make a statement.

This 1965 XK-E advertisement asks if you can spot the changes; chances are, you couldn't. The sleek silhouette remained untouched, because why improve on perfection?

Under the hood, however, was a different story entirely. A new, more powerful XK engine, four-wheel disc brakes, and all-around independent suspension.

Originally found in a vintage American print publication, likely circa 1965. There's something wonderfully unhurried about this ad: no flashy colours, no celebrity endorsement, just two stunning cars and the quiet confidence of a brand that knew exactly what it had. A reminder of an era when the car spoke for itself, and that was more than enough.
