✨For this week's spotlight, we take a look at one of our part-timer broadcasters, Rose Marie.

Rose joined the team in August 2023, initially working as a board-op for our local sports coverage. Nowadays she still board-ops, but helps us in the office and as a broadcaster. As a broadcaster, you can catch Rose on-air during her late night & weekend shows on 94.7 KKCK. Off the air Rose helps us in the office, filling BIG Deal orders and managing additions to our Marshall Radio Community Calendar.

But Rose's true passion is her love of creating and enjoying art in all its forms. Her personal favorites include radio(!!), watching movies, and theater. Speaking of theater, you'll see Rose performing in the many local plays and musicals across the region, lending them her talents as a singer and actress.

✨Nick takes the spotlight this week as one of our part-time broadcasters.

Bringing his passion for all things movies, tv, pop culture, & video Nick joined the team in March '22. Catch Nick on the radio airwaves during the middays on 99.7 KARZ, afternoons on 94.7 KKCK, and during the weekends on both 99.7 & 94.7. Plus, he'll keep you informed on all the upcoming & current movie releases with his Popcorn Bucket List segment on the weekends across the stations. During the local sports season Nick is one of our seasoned board-ops, helping our broadcasters back at the studio. And when he can, Nick lends his video editing skills to the team for our social media.

Outside of the station Nick is probably at the movies, watching a race, storm spotting, or video editing/recording for his longform project: Popcorn Bucket List. With PBL, Nick releases weekly episodes dissecting all things movies including reviews & recommendations. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.
