Last week I walked into town with my camera, planning to grab a few shots of our historic main street being filled with classic muscle cars. A couple hours later I’d met the owners of an awesome Chevelle, Impala, Malibu, Corvette, and a Model T that’s older than the street we were standing on.

More than a few folks asked if I was shooting for the paper or selling prints. I wasn’t, but I am always looking to showcase the kind of craftsmanship you just don’t see coming off modern production lines anymore.

Well, life happens and plans go awry. The Ironhead did not even come close to making its debut in Daytona, or Donnie Smith, or AZ Bike Week… Turns out your shop being 10hours from your house doesn’t lend itself well to getting s**t done, who would have thought?
So, I’m not putting a timeline on it again. I’m just going to keep slowly working away at it when I get time to make the trek. Eventually it’ll be done, and be the living embodiment of the vision I have in my head for it.

As I was culling through my photos from this past summer I realized I never posted these shots from . Sure that probably had to do with my leaving Daytona with a broken hand but whatever. What better way to celebrate fall than remembering some of the fun that spring Daytona has to offer!?
