We spent the night in Kalamazoo working at a Foot Locker retail outlet doing a rebuild of the Adidas display and re-merchandising of the shoes on the new display.

I like productive and sunny days!

Working on another rental. This one we planned to put a new kitchen cabinets in it and when we open up the walls to move the water lines into the wall instead of the floor we discovered it had a fire a while ago. We had to open up the walls in the kitchen to repair damage from SHOTTY repair work from the fire damage it sustained. It will be good when we are done with it!

All new flooring, new kitchen electrical repairs and some kitchen rewiring. We plan to refinish hardwood floors in kitchen and entry area. Carpet the bedroom and living room and add all new cabinets in the kitchen.

Working on another rental. It's been a busy and stressful 6 weeks! Glad this responsibility is done and taken care of!

Here's A few pictures of our three bedroom apartment that we had to open walls up and repair the chimney that was leaking then close the walls back up. While we had the walls open we also took the opportunity to put all new electrical and lighting in all three bedrooms and living room. None of these rooms had any lighting in them. Now they all have brand-new fixtures and switches.I still wish we could've left the walls open and kept the chimney exposed but maybe another day! For now this home is finally rented.

Two houses left to fill, a one bedroom and a two bedroom. The three-bedroom is gone. Starting around April we should have a second two bedroom also available

Now our three bedroom apartment is officially rented as of today. We still have a two bedroom and a one bedroom in downtown Lansing by sparrow hospital. We also have another two bedroom coming open sometime around early April.

Attention Residential customers:

Just a heads up. We have gotten a few calls from residential customers this morning. SSI's policy is to plow commercial accounts BEFORE residential customers. If you notified us of the necessity to get out today before this morning, we are doing our best to accommodate these requests. However, we DO NOT guarantee that we will make your deadline. Even at 7am this morning back roads and are not cleaned. Even if your driveway is plowed you probably cannot travel city streets and Main streets are still being cleaned. If you do not need to be out today please stay in. Let the plow companies and city/county workers get our jobs done! Thanks for your patience as we all work to get everyone opened up!

Doing a little a little demo at one of our apartments on a wall that had gotten damaged from water. Loving this chimney that's hidden behind the wall! I might have to leave this exposed when I put this back together.

Back in court for another eviction today. Thankfully this is my last eviction for non-paying tenants. For now anyways! I will be glad when our 3 vacant units are rented again-by people who pay their rent!

We recently installed and tuned a new PA system with Sound Solutions outdoors at Okemos High School at their Athletic facilities with new EV amps a Driverack 260 managing 6 zones and new Community 70v speakers.

We were hired to set and install base cabinets and install countertop and sink today. The kitchen remodel the homeowners were doing looked a bit stalled and slightly in trouble! They had been without the kitchen sink since April because they didn't know what to do. That's why you call a pro people! Lol!! Glad we could help get them going again!

Relieved to say we got a new tenant in our little 1 bedroom home! Time to kick it into high hear and finish getting that home ready! They're moving in this weekend.

Big day tomorrow!! Got an early morning A/V rental at 7am to Firekeepers Casino. Then we have a noon load in for a 3 camera shoot for Holt Public Schools. Then hoping to make the closing for the 2 new investment homes by 4:30 in Brighton. Finally gotta be at church tomorrow night!

I have no idea what some plow company was thinking but this is what my morning started with...moving a 5' tall and 16' wide mound of ice and snow for one of my customers. This was after only about 5 hrs ago of cleaning their driveway! Yes that was 5 hours ago!
