Flags Flying Proudly!

Throughout the hamlets of Seaford, Wantagh, Merrick and Bellmore, organized Facebook groups have been raising donations beatifying these communities with American flags.

It all began in the hamlet of Seaford where Eric Uss began the facebook group Flags Fly High in Seaford. With the help of Seaford resident Michael Hampton they installed over 1000 flags. They received national media attention becoming a inspiration to the neighboring communities to do the same.

The Wantagh community was next with Flags Fly High in Wantagh. This was started by Wantagh residents Matthew and Nicole Bland. Hundreds of flags have been installed throughout Wantagh thanks to their efforts.

Merrick would not be left out! Merrick residents Marie and Chris Deacon, Joe Endrich and Jeremy Gillott started the Facebook group Flags Fly High over Merrick. The streets of Merrick are lined with flags thanks to the group they started!

Ameer Benno and Bob Borzym of Bellmore would not be outdone and started Flags Fly High over Bellmore. Thanks to the group Flags are being raised throughout Bellmore.

Thanks to a project started by Eric Uss, it has grown inspiring many communities. Flags Fly High Facebook groups now exist in Massapequa, Island Trees and Levittown to name a few. This is great to see and I, along with other elected officials, were honored to present all of these groups with Town of Hempstead Hometown Hero citations for their efforts. Thank you everyone for this great display of patriotism bringing our communities together. Itโ€™s a great sight to see!

A round 7-7:30 this evening, helicopter circling over N. Massapequa. Half a dozen police cars on Boundary Ave. Husband was walking dog and was told by cops to get inside. Then cops were walking neighborhood with flashlights looking into back yards, etc. obviously looking for someone. Think they may have had canine as well. Anyone know what's going on?
Remember all the rainbows in windows we put in our town as a fun game to distract from covid? This is just like that, but for Halloween. There's also one for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's only $1 and contributes to charities! Please help spread the word. Maybe we can get this going national and raise some great money for some great charities, all beginning right here in our town.

So Jo-Anns in holbrook are maskholes. They gave my family a hard time even though I have a medical condition. One old biatch said I was selfish and her health is more important than mine. Add Joanns to boycott list. But Michael's came through no mask not even asked and was Thanked for shopping there.
Have you noticed many people are putting American flags on the telephone polls outside in front of their houses Great idea!
Does anyone know of a company who operates under the name Nelson Builders, a subsidiary of Alfred Nelson Builders, whose owners include Kenneth Nelson Sr., Kenneth Nelson Jr., Eric Nelson and a man named John. My husband hired this contracting group to renovate property we own in Astoria, Queens. The home that they are now squatting in, 20-57 32 Street, has been in our family for 93 years. Unbeknownst to me, while being paid to renovate our home, these three dishonest individuals took up residence in our home and moved in Moira Nelson, John Nelson and a girl friend. It is a multiple story home so it was easy for them to hide what they were doing. We were never there after hours or before regular starting times (a huge mistake on our part). Covid came and all business was supposed to be put on hold so from March until June 2020 we didnโ€™t check the house. They told all the neighbors that they were paying us rent in the form of labor so no one thought to call us. These people are master manipulators with phony credentials who presented a portfolio of unbelievable past jobs done. They use an address of 7 Canal Road, Massapequa as their main address with a business mailing address of 265 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, NY. This is a P.O. Box in a mailing center. These people, Kenneth Nelson Sr., Kenneth Nelson Jr., and Eric Nelson operate under a fictitious license as we have probed endlessly with Nassau, Suffolk and NY State and canโ€™t verify there documents. We have paid them a tremendous amount of money for labor and materials and what we have is a torn apart home and squatters. NYC and Mayor DeBlasio have granted them squatters rights so we have hired a lawyer to get them out. A very costly endeavor as they have already stolen so much from us. We have reported their earnings to the IRS and have the DA of Queens involved as we found drugs on our premise. I know this is a long story but our oversight of not checking deeply enough into their credentials has cost us plenty. If you google them, no warning signs appear. But if you google Kenneth Nelson of Massapequa or Eric Nelson of Massapequa you are shocked. Two little words โ€œof Massapequaโ€ would have prevented all this. If anyone has been duped by these degenerates in the past, please speak up. There will be more victims after us.
