Despite the fact that it was postponed, this year's Catch a Wave event still managed to triumph with success as students performed at its concert and walked the boardwalk. Read more at The Chief Online.

Catch a Wave originated from a Story Box Project that the English, Art, and Technology departments united forces to produce. It is an interactive project that children receiving treatment at Winthrop Childrens’ Cancer Center can add their own stories and experiences to for others to read.

Catch-a-Wave will be making waves once again on Friday, March 20. The annual charity event for the Winthrop University Hospital Cancer Center for Kids will feature food, entertainment, and a boardwalk, transforming MHS into a warm summer beach.

The tech and stage crew is responsible for keeping everything behind the curtains running smoothly. Though almost never seen by the audience, in this episode of our behind the scenes coverage, The Chief shines a spotlight on the elusive crew.

My Fair Lady debuts Friday, March 6 at 8pm; an encore performance will take place on Saturday, March 7 at 8pm. Tickets for these showings are $12.
